During January, Williams students pursue a single subject on a pass/fail basis in a much more flexible and searching way than is usually possible within the traditional curriculum. Students can choose to take courses from the eclectic Winter Study curriculum, participate in organized short-term trips, and pursue collaborative or independent research, fieldwork and internships on- and off-campus.
